5 Must Have Pieces from Sezane

It’s no secret that I absolutely adore Sezane and wish that my whole closet was made up of pieces from the brand but sadly thats not in the budget. With most pieces costing over $100, it makes sense to buy pieces that are staples and you will wear for years and years. Below are my 5 favorite pieces from Sezane that I would call Parisian staples.

1- Gaspard Jumper– $120

Sezane Gaspard in White

The Gaspard is a true Sezane classic. This sweater comes in 18 colors so I recommend picking one that goes with your wardrobe. My personal favorite colors are the white and the sage. The sweater is made up of 37% kid mohair, 37% baby alpaca, and 26% polyamide. I personally buy a small but can also wear a xs or a medium. What size you buy depends on the fit you want and also how long your arms are. [Note if you are someone who is sensitive to kid mohair or baby alpaca this might not be the sweater for you. If thats the case I recommend sticking to Sezane’s cotton sweaters.]

2- Tomboy Shirt– $110

Sezane Tomboy in White

The Tomboy is a very classic shirt style that can be worn to work or dressed down with shorts. Again I personally like the white color but have also been eyeing some of the striped versions of the shirt. The shirt is 100% organic cotton. I personally get a size 6 or 38 or a 8 or 40 in this shirt. I normally wear a small in most US shirts. I find there is not much of a difference between the two so I just buy whatever is in stock. [If you are a Sezane shopper you know how quickly some of their pieces go and I am not very patient when it comes to waiting for restocks.]

3- Leontine Jumper– $125

Leontine in Ecru/Navy

The Leontine Jumper might be the Sezane jumper you see the most on social media (or a dupe of it). My favorite colorway is the striped ecru and navy. This jumper is 100% organic content so there should be no itchy issue like some of their other sweaters. In order for this jumper to be somewhat long enough for my arms- I will admit the sleeves are a bit short- I had to size up to a medium. This might be the most recognizable piece of all 5.

4- Rome Shorts– $130

Rome Shorts in Camel

The Rome Shorts look good on everyone. They are loose in the leg and the waist can be made smaller by the belt that comes with the shorts for more of a paper bag look. These are normally a combination of cotton and elastane (but depends on the colorway you buy or if you are getting denim). I buy these shorts in a 6 or a 36. I normally wear a 26 bottom but have hips so I prefer the 6.

5- Achille Jumper– $170

Achille Jumper in Ecru

I know, I know another jumper but honestly Sezane’s jumpers are what drew me in and what I hoard from the brand. The Achille Jumper is a true classic and remind my of Jenni Kayne cardigans but way cheaper- even though I know its still pricey. I have this jumper in 3 colors- emerald, mottled beige and mottled pink- and honestly would add many more colors. I would recommend going neutral for this classic. Also size down! I buy a xs in this sweater.
